Fitch rates Ruta del Maipo notes BBB-

Fitch Ratings said it assigned a BBB- rating to Ruta del Maipo Sociedad Concesionaria, SA’s $421 million senior secured notes due in June 2022.

“The rating reflects the toll road's strategic location in the southern outskirts of Chile's biggest city, which offers travel efficiencies to its commuter traffic base, and its resilient performance over the years,” said Fitch in a news release.

The notes have a first-priority pledge of the concession.

The outlook is stable.
