RBC plans autocallable barrier notes linked to Russell 2000 index

Olympia, Wash., May 14 – Royal Bank of Canada plans to price 0% autocallable barrier notes due May 22, 2025 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes will be called at par plus a premium of 13% per year if the index closes at or above its initial level on any quarterly observation date.
The payout will be par unless the index finishes below its 65% barrier level, in which case investors will lose 1% for each 1% decline of the index from its initial level.
RBC Capital Markets, LLC is the agent.
The notes will price on May 19.
The Cusip number is 78015KUS1.
