New Issue: RBC prices $985,000 digital notes due 2020 tied to MSCI EAFE

Columbus, Ohio, Oct. 17 – Royal Bank of Canada priced $985,000 of 0% digital notes due Jan. 9, 2020 linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the index finishes at or above its 90% threshold, the payout at maturity will be the threshold settlement amount of $1,089.50 per $1,000 principal amount.
Otherwise, investors will lose 1.1111% for each 1% decline beyond 10%.
