RBC to price PLUS with cap linked to iShares Emerging Markets

San Luis Obispo, Calif., May 6 - Royal Bank of Canada plans to price 0% Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due December 2014 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets index fund, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the fund finishes above its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 200% of the fund return, subject to a maximum return of 20.6% to 24.6% that will be set at pricing.

Otherwise, investors will be exposed to losses.

The notes (Cusip: 78008D513) are expected to price in May and settle in June.
