RBC plans buffered bullish enhanced return notes on iShares MSCI EAFE

Madison, Wis., Aug. 24 - Royal Bank of Canada plans to price 0% buffered bullish enhanced return notes due March 14, 2012 linked to the iShares MSCI EAFE index fund, according to an FWP with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus double any increase in the fund's share price, capped at 17% to 21%. Investors will receive par if the share price declines by 15% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond 15%.
The notes (Cusip: 78008KHL0) will price on Sept. 9 and settle on Sept. 14.
