New Issue: Philippines’ Rizal issues $400 million 5˝% notes due 2029

Chicago, Jan. 18 – Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. issued $400 million of 5˝% notes due 2029, according to an offering document.

The non-callable notes priced at 99.543.

Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Ltd., Citigroup Global Markets Ltd. and SMBC Nikko Securities (Hong Kong) Ltd. managed the Regulation S sale.

Proceeds will be used to finance loans relating to green or social categories under the bank’s sustainable finance framework. Green categories include renewable energy, green buildings, clean transportation, energy efficiency, pollution prevention and control, sustainable water management and environmentally sustainable management of living natural resources and land use. Social categories include affordable basic infrastructure, access to essential services, employment generation, affordable housing and socioeconomic advancement and empowerment.

The notes are listed in Singapore.
