S&P affirms Protective Life
S&P said it affirmed its A- long-term issuer credit rating on Protective Life Corp.
The outlook is stable.
PLC entered into an agreement to acquire substantially all of the life and annuity business of Liberty Life.
“We are affirming our ratings on PLC as we expect it to maintain its very strong financial risk profile,” the agency said in a news release.
