PostRock wins approval of $1.38 million sale of West Virginia assets

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, June 8 – PostRock Energy Corp. received court approval of the $1.38 million sale of its assets to UIV, LLC, according to an order filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Oklahoma.

The assets being sold includes leases, wells, oil- and gas-related personal property, equipment and real property located in West Virginia.

A $1.35 million offer from Patchwork Oil & Gas, LLC will serve as the back-up bid in case the UIV sale does not close in accordance with the purchase agreement.

PostRock, an oil and natural gas company based in Oklahoma City, filed for bankruptcy on April 1. The Chapter 11 case number is 16-11230.
