Piraeus to forgo Jan. 27 dividend on €200 million preferred securities

New York, Jan. 7 – Piraeus Bank SA subsidiary Piraeus Group Capital Ltd. announced that it will not pay the upcoming dividend on its €200 million of series A floating-rate non-cumulative guaranteed non-voting preferred securities.

According to a company filing, the dividend would have otherwise been payable on Jan. 27.

The company also skipped the dividend that would have otherwise been payable on Oct. 27.

The securities have a subordinated guarantee from Piraeus Bank.

Piraeus Bank is a financial services company based in Athens.
