Pinnacle Airlines' net loss narrows to $9.84 million for October

Wilmington, Del., Nov. 21 - Pinnacle Airlines Corp. posted a net loss of $9.84 million in October on total operating revenue of $58.96 million, according to the company's monthly operating report filed Nov. 21 with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Those figures compare to a net loss of $79.63 million in September on total operating revenue of $60.21 million.

The company's operating loss was $3.91 million in October, compared to $2.5 million in September.

The company also reported cash and cash equivalents of $34.37 million as of Oct. 31, up from $18.68 million at the end of September.

Pinnacle, a Memphis-based operator of a regional airline, filed for bankruptcy on April 1, 2012. Its Chapter 11 case number is 12-11343.
