Moody's rates Pima County, Ariz., COPs A1

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an A1 rating with a stable outlook to the Pima County, Ariz.'s certificates of participation (COPs), series 2008, in the approximate amount of $50 million.

Sale of the certificates is expected on June 16.

Moody's also affirmed the Aa3 rating on the county's general obligation bonds as well as the A1 rating on the outstanding COPs, affecting $389.59 million and $52.9 million in debt outstanding, respectively.
