New Issue: Philippines auctions PHP 10 billion add-on of 6¼% bonds due 2028

Olympia, Wash., April 17 – The Philippines Bureau of the Treasury sold PHP 10 billion in an auction of its 6¼% bonds due March 22, 2028, for an average yield of 6.213% on Tuesday, according to a notice.

Competitive bids were tendered for PHP 16,778,000,000 and accepted for PHP 9.5 billion.

Non-competitive bids were tendered and accepted for PHP 500 million.

The bonds were sold at an average price of 100.265, with prices ranging from 99.629 to 101.284.

With this reissue, the total outstanding amount on the series is PHP 17.99 billion.
