Petrobras in market with $500 million 15-year notes via Lehman, CSFB

St. Louis, Dec. 2 - Brazilian energy giant Petrobras is reported by market sources to be coming with an offering of $500 million of 15-year global notes (Ba2).

Lehman Brothers and Credit Suisse First Boston will be the underwriters.

The notes will be non-callable.

Petrobras will use proceeds for general corporate purposes.

The notes will be registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and issued through Petrobras International Finance Co., a subsidiary of Rio de Janeiro-based Petroleo Brasileiro SA.
