PetroAsian Energy Holdings subsidiary mulls issue of notes

San Luis Obispo, Calif., June 18 - PetroAsian Energy Holdings Ltd. subsidiary PetroAsian Energy International Ltd. is considering an issuance of notes, according to a notice with the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Ltd. Ashenden Finbro Finance SA and Schweizerweg Finanz Sarl will be the placement agents.

The notes would be offered to institutional investors in Switzerland via a public offering and to institutional investors in some jurisdictions outside of Switzerland via a private placement.

The notes will be non-convertible and non-exchangeable.

Proceeds will be used to develop and expand the group's existing Quqihar oil and gas exploration facility.

The completion of the offering is subject to market conditions and investor interest.

PetroAsian Energy Holdings is a Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, company that focuses on natural resources and oil exploration and production. Its registered office is in Kowloon, Hong Kong.
