S&P rates Pennsylvania Turnpike bonds A+

Standard & Poor's said it assigned its A+ rating to the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission's $233.59 million of series 2008A-1, A-2 and A-3 turnpike multi-modal revenue refunding bonds.

At the same time, S&P said it affirmed its A+ rating and underlying rating on the Pennsylvania Turnpike's turnpike revenue bonds and its A- rating on the Pennsylvania Turnpike's series 2008A turnpike subordinate revenue bonds.

The agency added that it also affirmed its SP-1+ short-term rating on the Pennsylvania Turnpike's series 2007A bond anticipation notes.

The outlook is stable.
