Paul, Hastings adds Michael Michetti to leveraged finance practice

San Diego, July 7 - Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP announced that Michael Michetti has joined the company's leveraged finance practice in New York.

Previously with Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP, Michetti's practice has been focused on leveraged financings for acquisitions, recapitalizations and going private transactions for investment banking firms and commercial banks. He has represented lead arrangers, underwriters, initial purchasers and placement agents in syndicated loans, public and private high-yield offerings and secured bank loans across a variety of industries. He has also represented broker dealers in dealer manager engagements, consent solicitations and tender and exchange offer transactions.

"Mike is widely recognized as a go-to leveraged finance lawyer, and his experience on large and complex transactions will allow us to better serve our clients," William Schwitter, chair of the leveraged finance practice, said in a press release.

The law firm is based in Los Angeles.
