S&P boosts Nykredit Realkredit

S&P said it raised Nykredit Realkredit AS and its subsidiary Nykredit Bank AS to A+ from A.

“We have raised the long-term issuer credit ratings on Nykredit Realkredit and Nykredit Bank to reflect the progress the bank is making in building up its additional loss-absorbing capacity (ALAC) buffers to provide protection to senior creditors in case of a bail-in-led resolution process,” said S&P in a press release.

The outlook is stable.
