NXP Semiconductors to redeem 3¾% senior notes due 2018 on April 9

New York, March 9 – NXP Semiconductors NV said that its subsidiaries NXP BV and NXP Funding LLC will redeem their $750 million of 3¾% senior notes due 2018 on April 9.

Funding for the redemption will come from cash on the balance sheet, according to a news release.

NXP is an Eindhoven, Netherlands maker of chips for secure connectivity.
