Fitch revises NXP view to positive

Fitch Ratings said it revised NXP Semiconductors NV's outlook to positive from stable while affirming the BBB- long-term issuer default rating.

“The outlook change reflects NXP's better-than-expected operating and financial performance through the coronavirus pandemic and Fitch's expectation of strong operating results over at least the next 12 months due to recovering end-markets amid acute supply constraints, particularly in automotive,” Fitch said in a press release.
