NII Holdings says investors may convert 2.75% notes beginning Thursday

Chicago, July 15 - NII Holdings, Inc. said its 2.75% convertible notes due 2025 became convertible Thursday.

The convertibles were issued on Aug. 15, 2005.

Based in Reston, Va., NII Holdings is a wireless communications company.
