S&P assigns BBB to National Rural notes
S&P said it assigned a BBB rating to National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corp.'s planned $300 million of subordinated deferrable interest notes due 2053.
“We rate the notes two notches below the A- issuer credit rating, signifying their subordination and optional deferrability,” the agency said in a press release.
The outlook is stable.
