National Bank of Greece to skip November dividends on three preferreds

Tacoma, Wash., Oct. 27 – National Bank of Greece SA will skip paying dividends on three series of preference securities issued by National Bank of Greece Funding Ltd., according to announcements from the bank.

The bank’s $180 million of series C CMS-linked noncumulative guaranteed preferreds, €350 million of series B CMS-linked noncumulative guaranteed preferreds and £375 million series E fixed/floating-rate noncumulative guaranteed non-voting preferreds are affected.

The dividends that would otherwise have been payable on Nov. 3 for the series C and series B preferreds and on Nov. 10 for the series E preferreds will not be declared and will not be paid.

National Bank of Greece is based in Athens, and National Bank of Greece Funding is based in St. Helier, Jersey.
