DBRS assigns NBC bonds AAA

DBRS said it assigned a rating of AAA to the covered bonds, series CBL16 issued under the National Bank of Canada’s legislative global covered bond program.

Series CBL16 is €750 million of notes with a coupon rate of 0.01% and a maturity date of Sept. 29, 2026.

All covered bonds issued under the program rank equally and are rated AAA by DBRS, the agency said.
