VTR Finance to pay down outstanding facility debt via notes offering

By Tali Rackner

Minneapolis, Jan. 13 - VTR Finance BV plans repay the outstanding debt under facilities R, S and AE of the UPC Holding BV credit facility with the proceeds from a new notes offering, according to an 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The transactions are in connection with the company's reorganization. Liberty Global plc subsidiaries VTR GlobalCom, SpA and VTR Wireless, SpA, which operate Liberty Global's broadband and wireless businesses in Chile and are each 80% owned by Liberty Global, will be placed in a separate credit pool with their parent, VTR Finance, an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Liberty Global. VTR GlobalCom will no longer be a part of the UPC Holding credit pool.

VTR Finance is a subsidiary of Liberty Global.
