New Issue: Kazakhstan sells KZT 10.97 billion more 8.46% bonds due 2033

Los Angeles, Dec. 11 – Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Finance said it sold KZT 10,972,000,000 of additional 8.46% treasury bonds due 2033 (Meukam-180, 14th issue) at a special trading session held on Wednesday.

The “clean” price was 93.6316, corresponding to a yield of 9.3%.

The amount priced represents about 115.5% of the issuer’s planned placement of KZT 9.5 billion of bonds.

The issuer had previously sold KZT 153.25 billion of the long-term treasury bonds.
