Knoxville, Tenn., Aug. 4- Kansas City Southern completed a private placement of stock for $22.51 million on July 31, according to an 8-K filed Tuesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The company sold 1,125,308 common shares at $20.00 per share.
The company also said it sold 4,330,208 shares at an average price of $17.32 apiece, for approximately $75 million, under its previously announced ATM equity offering sales agreement.
Based in Kansas City, Mo., the transportation holding company has railroad investments in the United States, Mexico and Panama.
