JPMorgan to price buffered digital notes due 2021 tied to S&P 500

Olympia, Wash., Aug. 15 – JPMorgan Chase Financial Co. LLC plans to price 0% buffered digital notes due Aug. 19, 2021 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by JPMorgan Chase & Co.

If the index return is greater than or equal to its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 12.5%.

If the index falls by up to 17%, the payout will be par.

Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond 17%.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC is the agent.

The notes will price on Aug. 16.

The Cusip number is 48132FBR6.
