JPMorgan plans PLUS due 2018 with 3x leverage, cap tied to S&P 500

Chicago, Aug. 14 – JPMorgan Chase Financial Co. LLC plans to price 0% Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due Dec. 5, 2018 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus triple any index gain, up to a maximum return of 11.15%.

Investors will be fully exposed to any losses.

The notes will be guaranteed by JPMorgan Chase & Co.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC is the agent.

The notes will price on Aug. 31.

The Cusip number is 48129J848.
