JPMorgan eyes capped buffered notes tied to iShares MSCI EM fund

Chicago, Feb. 21 – JPMorgan Chase Financial Co. LLC plans to price capped buffered return enhanced notes due Feb. 28, 2019 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be guaranteed by JPMorgan Chase & Co.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 2 times any fund gain, up to a maximum return between 24.25% and 28.25% if the fund return is positive. The exact cap will be set at pricing.

Investors will receive par if the fund is flat or falls by up to 10% and will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond the 10% buffer.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC is the agent.

The notes will price on Feb. 23 and settle on Feb. 28.

The Cusip number is 46646QXS9.
