JPMorgan plans principal-protected notes linked to AIG Commodity index

Philadelphia, April 3 - JPMorgan Chase & Co. plans to price an issue of zero-coupon principal-protected notes due April 30, 2012 linked to the Dow Jones-AIG Commodity Index, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are expected to price April 25 and settle April 30.
The payout at maturity will be par plus any index gain multiplied by the participation rate, which will be at least 110% and will be determined at pricing. Investors will receive at least par.
J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. will be the agent for the offering.
