JPMorgan plans issues of 0% notes linked to basket of three indexes

New York, April 6 - JPMorgan Chase & Co. plans to price an issue of 0% principal-protected notes due April 30, 2009 linked to an equally weighted basket of the AMEX Hong Kong 30, MSCI Taiwan and MSCI Singapore indexes, according to a FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The pricing date is expected to be on or about April 25 and the notes will settle on or about April 28.

Payout at maturity will be par plus at least 115% of any gain on the basket of indexes on April 27, 2009, the observation date. Investors will receive at least par.

J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. will be underwriter for the offering.
