By Tali Rackner

Minneapolis, June 26 – JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. subsidiary JinkoSolar Japan K.K. signed a ¥4.1 billion up to two-year syndicated loan agreement with a consortium of banks led by Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp., according to a press release.

Proceeds will be used to support strong shipments growth in Japan and to supplement JinkoSolar Japan's working capital.

"I believe this loan agreement demonstrates the trust and recognition of a respected financial institution in JinkoSolar's brand, business scale, operations and financial position. We look forward to working closely with SMBC and other local banks to further expand our business in Japan," JinkoSolar chief financial officer Charlie Cao said in the release.

JinkoSolar is a Shanghai-based solar products manufacturer.
