Intelsat Jackson announces May 21 record date for DIP loan syndication

Pittsburgh, May 22 – Intelsat SA debtor subsidiary Intelsat Jackson Holdings SA has established 5 p.m. ET on May 21 as the record date for eligibility to participate in the proposed syndication of the company’s $1 billion debtor-in-possession term loan facility, according to an 8-K filed Friday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The record date applies to pre-bankruptcy term loan lenders, holders of 9˝% senior secured notes due 2022 and holders of 8% senior secured notes due 2024.

Intelsat is a Luxembourg City, Luxembourg-based satellite telecommunications company. The company filed bankruptcy on May 14 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia under Chapter 11 case number 20-32299.
