Goldman Sachs to price leveraged notes linked to iShares MSCI EM ETF

Norfolk, Va., Nov. 5 – Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. plans to price 0% leveraged notes linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The term is expected to be between 24 and 27 months and will be set at pricing.
If the fund return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus two times the fund return, subject to a maximum settlement amount that is expected to be between $1,358 and $1,420 per $1,000 principal amount. The exact cap will be set at pricing.
If the fund return is zero or negative, investors will be fully exposed to losses.
