Invesco concentrates closed-end municipal portfolio leadership teams

Minneapolis, March 1 - Invesco Advisers, Inc. said it has made portfolio management changes to its closed-end municipal fund lineup to better align resources and create more concentrated fund leadership roles, according to a company press release.

Effective March 1, the portfolio management teams are as follows:

• Thomas Byron, Robert Stryker, Julius Williams and Robert Wimmel are responsible for the Invesco California Municipal Income Trust, Invesco California Municipal Securities, Invesco California Quality Municipal Securities, Invesco New York Quality Municipal Securities, Invesco Van Kampen California Value Municipal Income Trust, Invesco Van Kampen Massachusetts Value Municipal Income Trust, Invesco Van Kampen Ohio Quality Municipal Trust, Invesco Van Kampen Pennsylvania Value Municipal Income Trust, Invesco Van Kampen Trust For Investment Grade New Jersey Municipals, Invesco Van Kampen Trust For Investment Grade New York Municipals, Invesco California Tax-Free Income Fund, Invesco Van Kampen Pennsylvania Tax Free Income Fund and Invesco Van Kampen New York Tax Free Income Fund;

• Byron, Stryker and Wimmel are responsible for the Invesco Municipal Premium Income Trust, Invesco Quality Municipal Income Trust, Invesco Quality Municipal Investment Trust, Invesco Quality Municipal Securities, Invesco Value Municipal Bond Trust, Invesco Value Municipal Income Trust, Invesco Value Municipal Securities, Invesco Value Municipal Trust, Invesco Van Kampen Advantage Municipal Income Trust II, Invesco Van Kampen Municipal Opportunity Trust, Invesco Van Kampen Municipal Trust, Invesco Van Kampen Select Sector Municipal Trust, Invesco Van Kampen Trust For Investment Grade Municipals, Invesco Van Kampen Trust For Value Municipals, Invesco Van Kampen Intermediate Term Municipal Income Fund, Invesco Van Kampen Municipal Income Fund, Invesco Municipal Bond Fund and Invesco Tax-Free Intermediate Fund; and

• William Black, Mark Paris and James Phillips are responsible for the Invesco Municipal Income Opportunities Trust, Invesco Municipal Income Opportunities Trust II, Invesco Municipal Income Opportunities Trust III, Invesco Van Kampen High Yield Municipal Fund and Invesco High Income Municipal Fund.
