Distressed/High Yield Opportunities Fund buys $6.77 million in claims against Interstate Bakeries

Pittsburgh, July 10 - Distressed/High Yield Opportunities Fund, Ltd. bought $6.77 million of Madison Liquidity Investors 123, LLC's claims against Interstate Bakeries Corp., according to Monday filings with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Missouri.

Distressed/High Yield bought a $2.83 million claim, a $2.29 million claim and a $1.65 million claim from Madison.

The Kansas City, Mo., bakery operator filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 22, 2004. Its Chapter 11 case number is 04-45814.
