S&P affirms International Power, rates bond BB

Standard & Poor's said it affirmed the long-term corporate credit rating of BB on International Power.

The outlook is stable.

At the same time, the agency said it assigned a BB rating to the proposed €250 million senior unsecured bond to be issued by International Power Finance (2010) plc.
