Fitch rates Intact notes A-

Fitch Ratings said it assigned Intact Financial Corp.’s C$300 million of five-year senior unsecured notes an A- rating. Intact’s other ratings are unchanged.

The rating for the offering is equivalent to the rating on Intact’s existing senior unsecured ratings. The proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.
