S&P rates Indiana University bonds AA

Standard & Poor's said it assigned an AA rating to Indiana University's $86 million of student fee bonds, series S, and its $180 million of consolidated revenue bonds, series 2008A.

The outlook is stable.

Some of the proceeds of the consolidated revenue bonds will be used to refinance and refund outstanding debt. In total, new debt from the two bond issues is about $82.6 million.
