Moody’s gives Baa3 to Illumina notes

Moody's Investors Service said it gave a Baa3 rating to the planned offering of $1 billion of senior unsecured notes by Illumina, Inc.

There are no changes to Illumina's Baa3 issuer rating or the stable outlook, the agency said.

The proceeds will be used to repay upcoming debt maturities and for general corporate purposes.
