HSBC plans 24-month buffered AMPS with cap linked to Euro Stoxx 50

Madison, Wis., July 3 – HSBC USA Inc. plans to price 0% buffered Accelerated Market Participation Securities due Aug. 1, 2016 linked to the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus double any gain in the index, up to a maximum return of at least 19%. The exact cap will be set at pricing.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 10% and will be exposed to any losses beyond 10%.
HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. is the agent.
The notes will price on July 25 and settle on July 30.
The Cusip number is 40433BGR3.
