European Investment Bank talks $1 billion 10-year global notes at mid-swaps plus 21 bps area

Tupelo, Miss., Oct. 1 – European Investment Bank (Aaa/AAA/AAA) plans to price $1 billion of 10-year global notes on Wednesday, according to a market source.

Initial price talk is in the mid-swaps plus 21 basis points area.

Barclays, Citigroup Global Markets Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken are the bookrunners.

The lender for the European Union is based in Kirchberg, Luxembourg.
