Entergy Mississippi to sell more 3.85% 30-year first mortgage bonds

Knoxville, Tenn., Nov. 13 – Entergy Mississippi Inc. is selling an add-on to its 3.85% first mortgage bonds due June 1, 2049, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes feature a make-whole call until Dec. 1, 2048 and then a par call.

BofA Securities, Inc., KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc., Mizuho Securities USA Inc. and SMBC Nikko Securities America Inc. are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used to repay short-term borrowings and for general corporate purposes.

The company originally issued $300 million of the bonds on June 5, 2019.

Entergy is a public utility company based in New Orleans.
