S&P: Edgen view to negative

Standard & Poor's said it revised the outlook on Edgen Group Inc. to negative from stable.

The agency also said it affirmed Edgen's B+ corporate credit rating.

The outlook revision reflects a view that Edgen's operating performance will continue to be pressured by lower prices, S&P said.

The ratings consider the company's weak business risk profile and aggressive financial risk profile, the agency said.
