Dinosaur taps Kauffman, Johansen as managing directors for fixed income

Los Angeles, Feb. 3 – Dinosaur Financial Group announced the addition of two managing directors, Rodd Kauffman and Kevin Johansen, to the fixed-income team.

Prior to joining Dinosaur, Kauffman was a managing director and head of fixed-income trading at Haitong International Securities USA. Earlier in his career, Kauffman was a partner and head of trading at Gramercy Funds Management, where he specialized in corporate and sovereign emerging market debt.

Johansen’s career began with Kidder Peabody. He has built a broad knowledge and network of contacts in the municipal bond market, specializing in the high-yield sector. His experience spans various brokerage firms including a few prior years with Dinosaur.

Dinosaur is an institutional brokerage firm based in New York.
