DavidsTea gets court order extending stay of proceedings under CCAA

Olympia, Wash., March 24 – DavidsTea Inc. said the Quebec Superior Court issued an order extending to June 4 the previously-announced stay of all proceedings against the company under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act.

The order was made on Friday, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

DavidsTea is a tea company based in Montreal. The company filed bankruptcy on July 8, 2020 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware under Chapter 15 case number 20-11802.
