New Issue: Scotiabank sells $2.52 million capped buffered enhanced notes on Dow

Olympia, Wash., March 13 – Bank of Nova Scotia priced $2.52 million of 0% capped buffered enhanced participation notes due March 10, 2021 linked to the Dow Jones Industrial Average, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 3 times any index gain, up to a maximum payment amount of $1,177 for each $1,000 principal amount.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 15% and will lose 1.1765% for each 1% decline beyond 15%.
