Citigroup plans buffered digital plus notes due 2015 linked to the Dow

Chicago, June 1 - Citigroup Funding Inc. plans to price 0% buffered digital plus notes due Dec. 23, 2015 linked to the Dow Jones industrial average, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index finishes above the initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the greater of the gain and the digital return of 30% to 35%.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 10% and will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond 10%.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter.

The notes will price on June 25 and settle three days later.

The Cusip number is 1730T0XR5.
