Moody’s assigns Dow notes Baa1

Moody’s Investors Service said it assigned Baa1 ratings to the Dow Chemical Co.'s new senior unsecured notes due 2032 and 2052.

Moody’s upgraded Dow’s senior unsecured ratings to Baa1 from Baa2 on May 31.

The proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

The outlook is stable.
