Company sells stock at $0.125 to four investors in initial tranche

Knoxville, Tenn., Oct. 19 - Discovery Energy Corp. raised $250,000 in the initial tranche of a private placement of stock, according to an 8-K filed Friday with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The deal began in the first week of September, the company said in the filing.
The company sold 2 million common shares at $0.125 per share to four investors. The price per share is a 37.5% discount to the Oct. 18 closing share price of $0.20.
The Houston company explores for oil and gas.
